I’m Rajiv, a web developer in Mauritius who also speaks marketing. I build websites and web apps, and I’m a Certified Digital Marketing Professional, so I care as much about whether your site brings in enquiries as about how it’s built.
I taught myself to code in 2020, with no degree and no bootcamp, just projects and a lot of documentation. That same year I joined Uncode Design, building WordPress and WooCommerce sites for real clients. At Reef Media I sharpened the front end: responsive interfaces, accessibility, and page speed. Since 2024 I’ve built client sites and web apps at Mediatiz, part of La Sentinelle, Mauritius’ largest media group. Each role added a layer: themes, then performance, then backends, servers, and data.
In 2022 I started freelancing alongside, for businesses that wanted to deal with the developer directly. That’s still how it works: you talk to the person writing the code. I’ll tell you honestly what’s worth building and what isn’t, deliver it clean and fast, and stay on after launch for the SEO, speed, and small fixes that keep it bringing in business.
